Frank Residences — Luxury Brand Identity & Digital Launch
San Francisco's Frank Residences is where luxury meets heart. More than an upscale senior living community, it is a place designed for connection, dignity, and peace of mind. Every detail— from light-filled interiors to personalized care — is thoughtfully curated to ensure residents don’t just live beautifully, but live meaningfully. Here, independence is honored, relationships are nurtured, and families find comfort knowing their loved ones are truly at home.
THE CHALLENGE
When the world stood still during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was tasked with launching Frank Residences — a brand-new, empty, high-end assisted living community. The building was pristine but vacant. The timing couldn’t have been more daunting: families were paralyzed by fear, seniors were among the most vulnerable, and no one was ready to make life-altering decisions.
Yet, my mission was clear: to breathe warmth, life, and trust into a silent space and build not just a residence, but a home — one that radiated safety, connection, and dignified care.
MY ROLE
As the sole art director + designer of this brand project, I led the creation of the brand’s visual identity and every design touchpoint, from digital to print, from storytelling, signage, to video and photography. I partnered closely with the Marketing Director, sales team, and digital manager, crafting a united front to ensure our branding and outreach spoke with one clear, compassionate voice.
Together, we built a campaign rooted in empathy — not just selling luxury, but offering peace of mind to families making one of the most emotional decisions of their lives.
MY APPROACH
My process is rooted in strategy, storytelling, and measurable impact. I partner deeply with stakeholders, align creative with business goals, and refine continuously through data and insight. I don’t hand off a design and walk away — I stay with it, guide it, evolve it, and protect its integrity from concept to conversion.
We were navigating a world gripped by fear — where “luxury” alone no longer reassured. Families needed more than polished brochures or elegant amenities; they needed to feel safe, heard, and seen. Every design element had to serve as a promise — of quality, care, and community.
Our messaging evolved to speak directly to the heart: This isn’t just where your loved one will live — it’s where they’ll belong, be cared for, and find purpose, even in uncertain times.
Photography for Frank Residences captures more than beautifully designed spaces—it tells a story of warmth, dignity, and elevated living. I art direct and carefully stage each scene in collaboration with the photographer, ensuring every detail—from lighting and composition to authentic moments—aligns with the brand’s vision.
The imagery emphasizes natural light, refined architectural details, and thoughtfully composed interactions that convey comfort, independence, and a true sense of home. Soft tones and clean lines reflect the balance between luxury and care, reinforcing Frank Residences’ commitment to quality, well-being, and timeless elegance.
THE RESULT
We didn’t just create awareness — we moved people. Through close monitoring of SEO, digital performance, and campaign analytics, we fine-tuned our efforts with precision.
94% occupancy within just three years — achieved during one of the most challenging times in recent history.
This wasn’t a typical launch. It was a success of human-centered design, strategic storytelling, and heartfelt branding. I am incredibly proud to have helped transform an empty building into a vibrant, thriving community — where every resident’s dignity is honored, and every family feels at home.
